  •  ATCA works to address beta amyloid plaque issues. In the documented 2½ year trial using our patented protocol: up to 76% of the patients either had no further decline or, even better, had improvement in their mild cognitive impairment. Beta amyloid plaque is closely coupled with mild cognitive impairment. Most of this care is covered by Medicare.

While research is not conclusive about the cause of cell and tissue death in the brain, visible plaques and tangles are the leading theory.

Plaques are abnormal protein fragments that cluster and built up between nerve cells. Once nerve cells are dead or dying, tangles consisting of twisted strands of another protein appear.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”Dementia and Memory Loss” font_container=”tag:h1|font_size:20px|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1594643988634{margin-top: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Plaques form when ‘sticky’ protein pieces, called beta-amyloid, clump together. The beta-amyloid comes from larger proteins in the fatty membrane of surrounding nerve cells. Small clumps block cell-to-cell communications (called synapses) and may activate immune system responses that cause inflammation and destroy disabled cells.

Tangles are also problematic, as they reduce the ability for nutrients and other essential supplies to move through the cells, eventually causing the cells to die.

As Alzheimer’s disease progresses, plaques and tangles spread through the cortex of the brain at a highly variable rate. How old someone is when diagnosed and the presence of non-Alzheimer’s health conditions appear to be factors that impact the pace of plaque progression. Interestingly, plaques and tangles can often be detected in the brain before symptoms appear, usually beginning in regions important for thinking, planning, and memory.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][us_image image=”142″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row color_scheme=”custom” us_bg_color=”#f7f7f7″ us_bg_image_source=”media” us_bg_image=”34″ us_bg_size=”initial”][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″ el_class=”bgwhite” css=”.vc_custom_1581078501309{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text]

In order to protect you from coronavirus all of our visits will be via Telemedicine until the Health Emergency is over. A simple to use video conference will be set up between the practitioner and the patient and/or the caregivers. These are scheduled for 45 minutes.

⦁ Complete Personal and Family Medical History
After the appointment is scheduled, we will email the patient and/or caregiver some online forms to fill out. Once these are filled out you will be ready to have the visit with the practitioner.

⦁ Initial Office Visit (online)
All of the information submitted will be reviewed and assessed by the practitioner. Additional information will be gathered by the practitioner during the office visit. Based upon that review, the practitioner will order labs and memory tests.

⦁ Blood Draws and Memory Tests
A mobile phlebotomist will come to your home to draw your blood and take your vital signs. The medical assistant will send the patient and caregiver a link for the memory tests. These memory tests will be taken online.

⦁ All Data Assessment and Report Creation
Our practitioner along with our Artificial Intelligence (AI) analytical tool will complete a baseline health assessment using: personal medical history, family medical history, genomic sequencing identifying pertinent genetic mutations, blood tests, memory evaluations, and more. A comprehensive 15 page report will then be created.

⦁ Get Your Personalized Care Plan
Our Patented proprietary AI rules engine will propose a set of prioritized interventions, based on your unique circumstances. Of course, the care plan will be reviewed and adjusted by our team of medical experts before being finalized. The care plan will be presented to the patient and/or caregiver in a 30 minute video conference.

⦁ Regular Care Management and Coaching
Multiple times each month our Health Coaches will work with the patients and caregivers to ensure that the prescribed protocol is being followed. Clarifications will be made where needed.

⦁ Monitor and Adjust
Our treatment plans are not static. They are adjusted based on continuous collection of new information, including patient reaction, side effects, new labs, biometric trends, and more.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row color_scheme=”custom” us_bg_color=”#00b050″ us_text_color=”#ffffff”][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_custom_heading text=”Get a consultation (covered by Medicare) from our leading specialists at Alzheimer’s Treatment Center of America today.
