INFORMATION SECURITY AND QUALITY CONTROL

Information is one of the most valuable assets created in this business. Specifically, information and knowledge about each patient and their measured responses to the therapeutics over time are critical to operational success. Vigilance is required to safe-guard and to protect this sensitive and personal information (PII, PHI, and Health Record). Alzheimer’s AI-Expert System is building its trust and brand around how it gathers, collects, stores, transfers, manages, and uses this data. Information security becomes everyone’s job, from the CEO, to every employee, business partner, doctor, and patient. Careful attention, common sense, and continuous process improvement are elements of best-in-class information security.

Starting with a strong security framework, Alzheimer’s AI-Expert System will continue to develop and strengthen mitigation controls to eliminate risks. We utilize two-factor authentication for access to all business-sensitive data. We deploy proven VPN technology and issue soft/hard encryption tokens to all key personnel. There are clear roles and responsibilities that align with security controls and the underpinning application access. As part of the framework, uniquely identifiable data is segregated from baseline data. Alzheimer’s AI-Expert System engineers, operation staff, and data technicians will have separation of duties in managing secured databases[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

REGULATORY

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

To ensure Alzheimer’s AI-Expert System complies with HIPAA and privacy rules, we execute Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with vendors and business partners with whom we share private patient data. Such an agreement establishes a clear line of accountability and provide maximum protection of confidential information in accordance with the Omnibus rule. Our privacy office works closely with care providers and exchange networks to de-duplicate sensitive data, streamline controls to minimize risks and simplify audit.
